I SWORE

I swore never to write to you anymore

But the volcano awoke encore

Words are easier to say

When they’re in your thoughts everyday.


I swore, but I was lying

About you, to stop thinking

But I never stopped writing

The same melody that I sing.


I swore to just forget

Move on with no regrets

But the feelings never fade away

Spread love it’s a Brooklyn way.


I swore and then here

It's always the same old story

But I am still talking about Nini

Yes, she is part of me.


Oh! I swore never to write

Another poem about you right?

But either you say what’s on  your mind

Or let it destroy you inside.


I swore in my hallucination

You were an old narration

But everyday seems like a déjà vu

Everything reminds me of you.

All this to tell you that I love you.
