Perri Pierre was born in Brooklyn, NY. And though he grew up in Haiti, he always held NYC close to his heart and was often back in NY every summer/Christmas. After high school, he moved back to NYC to go to College. He graduated from Queens College in 2010. After making several films and working for a non-profit in Queens for several years, he moved to California to get his master's degree. He graduated from Pepperdine University in 2018.
Pierre is the youngest of 4 children. Family is among the things that he truly values. His dad is a former mayor of a town in Haiti, and he often says that he gets politics from the blood.
Pierre has always been about the community. Many times he has volunteered in NY with different organizations to make a difference in his community. But he's also carried the same spirit internationally. in 2015, he held a Christmas party for 100 kids in southern Haiti and gave each kid a Leapad. He's traveled to Mexico many times for school supplies distribution.
Other than making a difference in his community, Pierre is passionate about filmmaking and has a podcast that tackles Cinema, Television, Theater, and New Media.
